The solicitation is set aside for small businesses, with a response deadline of August 15, 2025, at 3 PM Central Time. The procurement will follow streamlined commercial item procedures, and the contract is being issued through the VA Network Contracting Office, with Robert Arabie serving as the primary contract specialist.

RESPONSES TO RFIs

1. Can you share which items the VA biomedical team and/or departments stock as disposables, consumables, and supply items for maintenance activities on these lasers?

All parts and services will be provided by vendor for maintenance and repairs, Biomed will supply disposables/consumables such as the asset tag batteries (if applicable)

2. Can you provide the dates of last PM services for the equipment and if it was a third party or the OEM?

Services provided can be third party (some depending on the vendor are also considered OEM), BUT all parts used in servicing must be OEM.
