Clarification to RFIs
RFP 36C25624R0005
598-21-101 Renovate Ground Floor-JLM
1. Reference to the A0006_Attachment+D_Appendix+H+Cutsheets, Page 4 of 54. The first part of the Bed Lift model is HBL-1000. What is the remaining information of the model? Feature option on lifting arm style? Remote operator control is preference, 60” stroke/rise is ideal but any of the stroke/rise sizes are better than what we have now.
2. Reference to the A0006_Attachment+E_Revised+Schedule+of+Offer+Items.
a. Item 0001b – Base: less deduct alternates #1a & 1b – Deduct GC195 EMS Supply Closet:
On this Item 0001b, does the deduct include deduct Locker Room Remodel and deduct GC195 EMS Supply Closet? Or only include the deduct GC195 EMS Supply Closet? Yes, deduct includes CLIN 0001a Locker Room Remodel and 1b GC195 EMS Supply Closet.
b. Item 0001c – Base: less deduct alternates #1a – 1c – Deduct the purchase and install of Bed Lift: On this Item 0001c, does the deduct include deduct Locker Room Remodel, deduct GC195 EMS Supply, and deduct the purchase and install of Bed Lift? Or only include the deduct the purchase and install of Bed Lift? Yes, deduct includes CLIN 0001a Locker Room Remodel, 1b GC195 EMS Supply Closet, and 1c the purchase and install of Bed Lift.
3. Not from the Amendment #6, but I need to have a clarification. Per Drawing Sheet AE101, the Data Head End GD 101 located east of Men’s Bath GC183 and EMS Supply Closet GC195 belongs to the Not-In-Contract area. However, per Drawing Sheet I-601, the Data Head End GD 101 has one (1) grab bars with vertical “Mark A5109” indicated that it is a “CC” item that is Contractor Furnished & Contractor Installed. Does the term “Contractor” here mean “By Other” since the Data Head End GD 101 is in the Not-In-Contract area? Or is it in this project Scope Of Work to install one (1) grab bars with vertical “Mark A5109” in the Data Head End GD 101? That is a mistype grab bars only in the locker/bathrooms for the ADA stall. All CC items are part of the contractor provided and contractor install items. No outside contractors or by others involved on this project.
