About this file
This document contains responses to questions from potential offerors regarding Solicitation Number 36C25623R0080 from the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration for replacing Air Handling Units 47, 48, 48B, and 22 at the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. The key project details are replacing four air handling units and associated mechanical, electrical, and controls work. The bid due date was extended to September 6, 2023. Offerors should note that replacement of the units will require phasing and coordination to provide temporary HVAC as each unit is replaced one at a time. The period of performance is 300 calendar days though offerors may propose longer schedules due to current material lead times of approximately one year for the air handling units. The incumbent controls contractors are Siemens and Trane depending on the system.
