About this file

This is Amendment 0006 to Solicitation 36C25526R0074, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) for a four-year lease and service contract for endoscopes and peripheral equipment supporting Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 15 facilities. The amendment removes language regarding trade-ins, clarifying that trade-ins will not be considered in this procurement.

The Statement of Requirements specifies delivery and installation of endoscopes and associated equipment to seven VA Medical Centers and two Community-based Outpatient Clinics within 30 days of contract award. Required equipment includes gastroscopes, colonoscopes, bronchoscopes, urology scopes, ENT scopes, laparoscopes, and arthroscopes with latest-market technology and FDA 510(k) clearance, all compatible with VA's ProVation MD procedure documentation software and featuring high-performance video filtering and 4K capabilities where applicable. Peripheral equipment includes video processors, light sources, monitors, carts, flushing pumps, printers, and ancillary items. The contractor must provide comprehensive service and maintenance including full repair coverage with no cap, OEM parts only, 24-48-hour turnaround, next-day shipping, 24/7 technical support, loaner equipment at no charge, and online repair tracking. Equipment must be compatible with facility-specific sterilization equipment (Sterrad, Medivator, Scope Buddy, and other low-temperature sterilization systems). The contractor shall provide on-site training for staff at no additional charge, supply loaner units during service, and maintain fixed pricing unless modified by VA request. Equipment title remains with the contractor; the VA assumes liability for loss or damage except during transportation and installation. Return of equipment at contract expiration is at contractor expense, with decontamination and repackaging required.
