About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for solicitation 36C25526Q0501, addressing technical inquiries submitted by potential offerors regarding electrical testing and maintenance services at Harry S. Truman Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC). The solicitation is a Firm-Fixed Price acquisition with a one-year period of performance from award, with work scheduled to occur after the holiday period due to delays in award timing.

Key clarifications provided include: the detailed equipment list for the Electrical Power Distribution System (quantities, voltage class, and locations) was included in an amendment issued September 16; a mandatory site visit was held September 22 at 11:00 AM CST; protective shielding installation in Rooms D022, D023, D022C, D020, and the penthouse was removed from scope due to time constraints; Line Item 0001 is priced as a Firm-Fixed Price "JB" (job) encompassing all scope; and CLIN 0002 (Unscheduled PM&R Services) has a Not-to-Exceed amount of approximately $15,000.00 for potential repairs identified during testing. The previous triennial electrical testing contract was 36C25524P0588. The scope includes calibration of protective relays with quantities and specifications detailed in the September 16 amendment, and CLIN 0002 serves as a placeholder for repair parts that may be necessary as a result of testing, with pricing optional for this line item. The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 15 is the contracting agency.
