1. Contractor shall Verify proper tank registration, including proper certificate posting.

2. NOT APPLICABLE * – Verification of functional status of corrosion protection equipment if required and present, including proper cathodic protection system readings in the case of impressed current corrosion protection system. (Not required due to the fact that the steel tanks are protected by 100 mil of Fiberglass coating. Confirmed with LARA on email from Stephen Thompson (LARA))

3. Contractor shall Verify the functional status of release detection equipment including reviewing alarm history reports for the previous month, and checking that each alarm condition was documented and responded to appropriately. A copy of the alarm history report or log, along with documentation describing action taken in response to any alarm (s) shall be attached to the monthly report.

4. Contractor shall inspect for the presence of product, water, or debris in the spill containers and verify the functional status of leak prevention equipment, such as spill and overflow detection. Contractor shall provide maintenance to remove any product, water, or debris in the spill containers in addition to verifying the functional status of leak prevention equipment and overflow detection.

Contractor shall perform annual UST System Inspections per attached Appendix A-2 form, Annual Underground Storage System Inspection Checklist (See Appendix A-2 PEI RP 900 Annual Underground Storage System Inspection Checklist)

a. Test Probe and Floats to ensure they are in good condition, and move freely. Provide maintenance as necessary.

b. Test Functionality of ATG probe.

c. Verify functionality of the ATG probe. Contractor shall test the fluid volume by dipping the tanks and comparing results with the ATG value.

d. Test single walled spill containment manhole/bucket tightness by performing hydrostatic tests for one hour.

e. Test Overfill protection flapper devices (no ball float valves). Provide written documentation, verifying, at a minimum, that the overfill prevention equipment installed is set to activate at the correct level and will activate when a regulated substance reaches that level, in accordance with section 280.20 (c).

f. Test overfill alarm. Provide written documentation, verifying, at a minimum, that the overfill prevention equipment installed is set to activate at the correct level and will activate when a regulated substance reaches that level, in accordance with section 280.20 (c).

g. Calibrate Leak Detection System. Contractor shall perform maintenance to the Veeder-root system by calibrating the ATG probe and tank levels, calibrating the Veeder-root tank tightness testing function (tanks 1-6), calibrating the Veeder-root line tightness testing function (tanks 1-4), and calibrating the Veeder-root leak detection sensor equipment to alarm at correct level.

h. Inspect ATG Consoles and make any necessary repairs. There are three ATG Veeder-root Consoles.

i. Perform Line tightness testing at tanks 5 and 6 through use of mechanical piping alterations to install gauges, pump connections, and other items needed to perform the test.
