REPLY NEEDED BY:

INFORMATION NEEDED: Who is the basis of design on the Modular Equipment access platform note 8 on drawing number 15-A101?

What brand is the basis of design for the Fume Hood Venturi Valves on Drawing Number 15-M601?

Can the replacement of 15-AHU-31 be extended to November 30th as it will not be possible to get the AHU in that amount of time.

What brand is the basis of design for the AHU on this project that it to be replaced? Daikin is the basis of design.

Will the fume hoods have to be re-certified after the new work is completed and if so who is responsible for this?

REPLY:

The equipment platform is fabricated with bar grating and steel support as specified on section 05 50 00. There will be a change in drawing 15-A101, Note 8 to read “equipment platform with 1”X3/16” bar grating on Steel supports.” See amended 15-A101.

Phoenix Controls is the basis of design of the Fume Hood Venturi Air Valves.

The designer checked if 12-ton rental heat pumps were available that could extend the time of the year that the AHU installation could occur. Only 24-ton rentals were available which would require a re-design of the electrical hook up. As a result, the original dates will have to stay.

Daikin is the basis of design for the AHU.

The contractor will re-certify the fume hoods. See amended drawing M-001.
