About this file

This is Amendment No. 1 to a Department of Veterans Affairs Request for Lease Proposals (RLP No. 36C24W26R0011) for overflow parking at the Oklahoma City VA facility. The amendment provides clarifications to three key questions submitted by prospective offerors regarding the parking lease project.

The Government seeks a single parking lot containing 1,000 parking spaces and confirms this is a new project with no incumbent lessor or recompete situation. The preferred occupancy date is October 1, 2026, though the Government will accept occupancy as soon as possible if that date cannot be met. The amendment explicitly states that the 1,000 parking spaces cannot be separated into multiple lots, as prospective offerors had inquired. All other requirements from the original RLP remain unchanged. Offerors must sign and return the amendment to Miranda Kloeppel, Leasing Specialist, at MIRANDA.KLOEPPEL@VA.GOV to acknowledge receipt.

AMENDMENT NO. 1

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)

OKC Overflow Parking VA Request for Lease Proposals

No. 36C24W26R0011

This amendment is to provide answers of clarification to the following questions concerning RLP No.36C24W26R0011:

Question 1: Is there any incumbent/recompete or is this a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past.

Answer 1: The Oklahoma City VA has utilized other parking Leases. However, this is a new parking project and does not have any incumbent/recompete Lessors.

Question 2: When do you plan to begin occupying the parking spaces?

Answer 2: Ideally, the Oklahoma City VA would be able to establish beneficial occupancy and begin use of this lot on October 1, 2026. In the event that is not possible, the parking lot will be occupied as soon as possible.

Question 3: Can we separate the 1000 parking spots in 3 or 4 different parking?

Answer 3: No, the Government is requesting a single parking lot containing 1000 parking spaces.

All other requirements remain unchanged.
