About this file

This document is Amendment 0005 to Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24826Q1025 issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) for Bay Pines Conference Room AV Equipment and Installation at C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, Florida. The amendment establishes a revised quote submission deadline of no later than September 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST, with submissions sent via email to colleen.houser@va.gov. Contracting Officer Colleen Houser issued this amendment on September 15, 2026, and offerors must acknowledge receipt of the amendment prior to the deadline or risk rejection of their proposals.

The amendment includes 14 questions and answers addressing critical project scope clarifications. Key requirements include installation of one LED video wall with spare modules (5% of baseline), one spare card per zone, one sending/control card, and one spare power supply, plus four 86-inch displays (with an optional configuration for five displays). The contractor must provide wall blocking for structural support, and brand name or equal technically equivalent products are acceptable, excluding used or gray market parts. Existing electrical service, cabling pathways, and penetrations are available for contractor use. The Government will furnish Microsoft Teams Room hardware and licensing, while VA Office of Internet Technology (OIT) handles network-related decisions and technical reference model approvals. The conference room will be continuously out of service during installation, with equipment delivery to Building 110 and internal transport to Building 22 handled by Government logistics. The Netgear switch model number was corrected from GSM42430PX to GSM4230PX, and LED video wall pixel pitch of 1.56 mm is acceptable as an alternative to the originally specified 1.2 mm or 1.5 mm specifications.
