About this file

This is an Amendment 0003 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Bay Pines Conference Room AV Equipment and Installation (RFQ 36C24826Q1025), issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) at C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center in Bay Pines, Florida. The amendment extends the quote submission deadline to September 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT, with quotes to be submitted via email to colleen.houser@va.gov. Contracting Officer Colleen Houser is administering the procurement.

The document contains a Questions and Answers section addressing six key requirements clarifications. The installation location is confirmed as Building 22, Room 400, with the front-of-room display wall located at the door to the right of the current monitor. The LED video wall of approximately 136 inches is optional, with an alternative 98-inch monitor offered as a substitute option. Equivalent LED wall systems are acceptable (not requiring the exact VISN 8 reference model), and pixel pitch solutions of 1.2 mm or 1.5 mm are acceptable provided all other requirements including size, TAA compliance, warranty, and performance specifications are met. For spare components, the LED video wall must include modules at 5 percent of the standard baseline quantity, one spare card per zone with one sending/control card, and one spare power supply. The specification calls for four 86-inch displays as the base requirement.
