About this file
This document contains an amendment and questions and answers relating to a solicitation for fire protection inspection, monitoring, and testing services at multiple VA campuses in Orlando, Florida. The solicitation seeks these services for a five-year period starting in 2023 at the Lake Nona, Lake Baldwin, Lakemont, and Viera campuses. The services include quarterly and semi-annual inspections of fire alarms, sprinklers, kitchen hoods, and other equipment. Annual inspections are required for dampers, rollup doors, and other systems. The contractor must also provide central station monitoring for the fire alarm system at the Daytona campus. The amendment revises the CLIN structure and pricing schedule to incorporate these requirements and add the Daytona location. The questions and answers provide additional details on licensing, subcontracting, and the specific types and quantities of devices and equipment covered. The solicitation will be set aside for SDVOSB small businesses with a size standard of $22 million.
