About this file
This document contains a federal contract opportunity solicitation for a temporary modular kitchen project and related government responses to vendor questions. The solicitation seeks design, fabrication, delivery, site preparation and installation of a temporary modular kitchen unit at the C.W. Bill Young Medical Center in Bay Pines, Florida. The estimated completion period is 365 calendar days from notice to proceed, with a magnitude between $1 million and $2 million. The trade-off source selection process will be used to provide best value, and the solicitation will issue on or around February 3, 2021. Responses to vendor questions clarify allowable materials, required ramp coverage and footings, electrical supply from existing transformers, and that the VA will provide fire extinguishers but cabinets are to be installed by the vendor.
