About this file

This is a pre-bid Request for Information (RFI) response document for the VA Atlanta Inpatient Pharmacy IV Compounding Room project (Project #508-21-107). The document contains 36 questions and answers primarily focused on technical specifications, equipment requirements, and project execution details.

Key clarifications include: no existing roof warranty exists; the steam generator is a Carel HeaterSteam Model UR040HM1U4; crane lifts must be performed after normal business hours; Trane Controls is the preselected controls service company; the control system must be contracted directly through the General Contractor rather than the Mechanical Contractor; working hours are 7:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday; and contractors require background investigations, fingerprinting, and badging. Technical specifications were provided for air handling units, fan filter units, HVAC systems, and various mechanical components. The document also addresses requirements for the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), Quality Control, and project supervision roles.
