Responses to RFP Questions
1. Question: The plan sets provided within the bid documents are 8.5”x11” page size? Can you please provide a full size drawing set?
Answer: The Bid Document Drawings are sized at 30”x 42”. We have provided another set to the VA.
2. Question: There are no exterior elevations shown and only one wall cut showing 2" EIFS but no other plans where we can see the areas of EIFS application. Can you please provide clarification as to the locations of required EIFS application?
Answer: Elevations have been provided. See Elevations 1, 2, & 3 on Dwg. AE201. Follow floor plans and sections for dimensions.
3. Question: Section 230923 page 3; Section 1.1 E. Responsibility Table - Please confirm if Div 26
Electrical is providing power for the terminal vav boxes/controllers and air valves/controllers. Table shows division 26 but I don’t see anything on Electrical Drawings to provide power to the VAVs and
Air Valves.
Answer: The terminal controllers operate on 24-volt power. The HVAC control panel will contain a central transformer(s) and the control wiring from the control panel to the controllers is by Div. 23.
