Question and Answers

1 Is there a current contract in place for this service or is this a new requirement? THE LAST

CONTRACT EXPIRED IN 2024.

2. What is the maximum height from floor to deck of smoke or fire walls? IT DEPENDS ON

WHAT FLOOR YOU ARE ON. MOST ARE 10-12’.

3. Will ladders be provided. If not, will there be a storage area for contractor to leave some materials(Ladders, fire caulking, small toolbox)? CONTRACTOR MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN

LADDERS. THERE WILL BE A PLACE WHERE LADDERS CAN BE SECURED. Contractor will have to bring and remove their own materials. They cannot be stored here in between quarterly inspections.

4. Are there any areas that are to be inspected/repaired that a man lift would be required? NO

5. Can you provide the most recent door inspection report? Refer to the Life Safety Drawings attachment in the available download list on SAM.gov posting. A copy of past inspections will not be provided for this solicitation.

6. Are there any ILSM requirements? Yes, but the facility would perform this function.

7. Can you provide square footage for Building 17 CLC? CLC, BLDG 17 is 36, 279 sq/ft

8. Are the above ceiling inspections being requested for Building 1 only in-patient care areas, or would this include business occupancies? Both. Inspection is for any rated wall. We are providing drawings. Most business occupancies only have rated walls around the elevator shafts, but there are some.

9. Based on the current condition above ceiling, would you anticipate minimal repairs or an extensive number of repairs? Minimal. Anything over 12”x12” or 144” linear is not covered under this contract.
