About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation 36C24125R0025, which clarifies requirements for Architect/Engineering services to replace underground storage tanks at VA facilities in West Haven and Newington, CT. The Q&A confirms that offerors should demonstrate experience in underground storage tank replacement rather than laboratory renovations. It specifies the tank requirements: At Newington - two 6,000-gallon and one 4,000-gallon double wall FRP tanks near Buildings 2W, 2E and 3; at West Haven - one 12,000-gallon double wall FRP tank near Building 38.

The document amends the SF330 submission deadline to February 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM EST and includes an additional site plan document for West Haven. This is a total SDVOSB set-aside under NAICS 541330 with a $25.5M size standard. The estimated construction magnitude is $1-5 million. The work involves removing and replacing existing diesel fuel storage tanks to address environmental issues identified during recent inspections.
