QUESTIONS & ANSWERS FOR RFQ 36C24124Q0377-0002
1. Are there any instruments available? No
2. How is the music being handled? Military Band Commander will oversee the band.
3. Additionally, could you please provide the quantities for each of the following items:
· Dunk tank - 1
· Giant Connect - 1
· Giant Checkers - 1
· Bounce house - 1
4. I would like to clarify that the band that’s listed on the sample program will be provided by the VA? Yes, the Government will provide.
5. For equipment - are all prospective contractors bidding on the same thing? For example, "Outdoor games area" includes 4 specific activities then the words "or others". Are we supposed to definitely quote the 4 and add others as we see fit? Or should we use our judgment and put together what seems like a good mix of activities based on space, etc.? If we exercise judgment, how will that reconcile with price being the first decision factor listed on p8? We would prefer to have 4 games listed. The event is carnival themed. If vendor has other games that would fit the theme, we could accommodate up to 2 additional games. Please include the cost for both 4 and 6 games.
6. Is all the equipment listed in item b to be provided by the contractor (stage, sound system, folding chairs)? Yes, all items listed are the responsibility of the vendor. See example below (chair covers and plants are not to be included. Photo is only an example)
7. There are items in the agenda not referenced in the requirements (i.e. therapy animals, whiffleball tournament). Are these within the purview of the contractor and intended to be included in the quote? No, this is not in the purview of the contractor and should not be included in the quote.
