Request For Qualifications Statements (SF 330) General Project Description:

Project Number: 402-23-101 Project Title: A-E Demolish B222, 33, 34 Location of Project: VA Maine Healthcare System (VAMC Togus), Augusta, Maine 04330 The VA Medical Center Togus in Augusta, ME has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide professional Architect/Engineer (A/E) Design Services to prepare construction ready stamped design plans and specifications for the Demolish B222, 33, 34 project. A-E Design Services for this project include site visits, field investigation, studies to prepare drawings, as well as specifications and cost estimates for all facets of work and disciplines/trades to facilitate a construction project to demolish Building B222, Quarter 33, and Quarter 34. Investigative services shall include but not be limited to investigation of any Asbestos Containing Material (ACM); lead paint investigation; investigation of utility locations to be terminated back to their source. A-E must include an Environmental Assessment as part of their Scope of Work. Building B222, Quarter 33, and Quarter 34 are currently abandoned buildings. Building 222 was previously the sewage treatment plant for Togus VAMC. A disposal plan for any remaining raw sewage in the building and its systems must be taken into consideration. This scope is comprised of Type A, B and C services which will include concept, design and support through the construction phase of this work.

NAICS and Set-Aside Information:

This procurement for Architect & Engineering services is assigned NAICS 541330 Engineering Services which has an SBA size standard of $25.5 million in average revenue. This procurement is a total set-aside for verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).
