System Security Maintenance Q&A - 36C10X24Q0338 Amendment 1
1. What is the current server platform? HW model, OS version, etc. MS 2019 Standard
1. What is the current cable plant? Cat6e, etc. Cat6
1. How many available cards? PIV cards are utilized in the systems. Approximately 1,700.
1. What is the software version for Lenel and Pelco? Lenel version 8.2 (needs updated to 8.3 as soon as available in accordance with VA Technical Reference Model). Pelco Xpert 3.1.
1. Do you have any cameras in place that are currently not working? Cameras are operational. Current contract covers them through end of September.
1. Do you have any locations (Dead spots) not being covered that need to be covered? No
1. Do you currently have remote access to the Lenel or Pelco system? VA IT Support has remote access to the servers and will be available for assistance as needed.
1. How many client machines are there in the secure area or is that just a combined client server machine? 1 Lenel Client in the secure area. Total Lenel Clients is six (6) which includes secure area and one in Shepherdstown.
1. On site scheduled service two bravo states that this contract will include repairs parts, labor removal, parts and expenses, such as travel time and mileage and then paragraph to Charlie states that time billing shall commence upon sign into the facility and end upon departure from the property. The question is, where does the contractor place cost for travel and mileage related to getting to and from the facility? Travel falls under the designated on-site/emergency services and should be notated on the invoice as a separate line item.
1. Is the Pelco and the LENEL systems integrated so that each camera is associated with hardware in the LENEL system? The Lenel and Pelco systems are not integrated.
1. Is the customer using their PIV card for Axis control or are they using a separate access control card on the readers in both facilities? PIV cards are utilized. However, there are some HID badges used as a temporary measure when required.
