Based on the offeror's experience with past projects, for the size of the Conroe clinic, the duration of the project 28 months from award to VA acceptance is a very quick. The offeror would request VA to consider extending the overall project duration by a few months. No amendment or change at this time, future revision reserved at the discretion of the VA.

37 L100, section 4.01

In the L100, the working day durations for the offeror to produce and submit DIDs, CDs, budgets, TI price proposal as well as days from NTP to completion of construction work are not filled in. What durations should the offeror utilize for the proposal project schedule?

In R100 it states that the project is required to earn 2 Green Globes certification for New Construction and 1 Green Globe certification for Sustainable Interiors as well as EnergyStar rating within 12 months of operation. There is no mention of LEED certification so the offeror assumes it is not required.

In the VA CFM Green Building Certification Requirements memorandum dated 08/03/2021, it solely mentions LEED certifications and specific credit targets. Is there a similar guideline document available for Green Globes certification that the project should use to target specific credits and points?

Please refer to the R-100 and Section 3.48 of the L-100. in terms of additional guideline documentation, please refer to NC Technical Reference Manual (HTTP://WWW.THEGBI.ORG/).
