About this file

This document is an Amendment (0004) to a Request for Information (RFI) for a Mammography Tracking System for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The amendment provides clarifying responses to nine industry questions about the potential procurement, revealing key project details including an estimated 300,000 annual exams across 57 sites, approximately 285 radiologist workstations, and plans for a phased rollout. Responses indicate the system requires customizable dashboards, analytics for patient tracking, compliance with MQSA and EQUIP standards, and potential multi-language support, with English definitely required and Spanish, French, and other regional languages possibly needed.

The RFI seeks a comprehensive mammography tracking solution with specific technical requirements, including national deployment capabilities, HL7 integration, potential interfaces with Vista Imaging and Oracle Health EHR, and compatibility with Radiology PACS systems. The opportunity is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), with a requirement that at least 50% of manufacturing or service costs be performed by verified SDVOSB concerns. Interested vendors must submit responses electronically by 10:00 am EST on May 14, 2025, with the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541511 and a small business size standard of $34 million.
