About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to conduct market research on Microsoft enterprise pricing and alternatives. The RFI provides details on the VA's current Microsoft enterprise environment, including the specific products and quantities being utilized across various technology domains such as collaboration services, desktop, server, development, security, identity, CRM, compliance, business intelligence, and cloud services. The VA is seeking pricing information for the current Microsoft products as well as potential alternative products that could provide similar capabilities. Respondents are asked to provide compliance information, existing government customers, FedRAMP authorization status, pricing models, service level agreements, and implementation details for any proposed alternatives. The VA is interested in understanding the full operational costs, management tools, and innovative features of the proposed solutions. Responses to this RFI are due by January 5, 2024, and the VA may subsequently issue a Request for Proposal or Request for Quote based on the market research findings.
