Gainesville IOTA IDIQ questions
1. Are there any page margin requirements for this submission?
Answer: no.
2. Are cover letters and title pages included in the page max count?
Answer: Title pages are exempt from the page count. All other pages count.
3. Outside of font size, are there any font style/types that are required?
Answer: no.
4. We would like to confirm single-spaced lines are acceptable for our submission.
Answer: Acceptable, as long as the page limit requirements are met.
5. Will the site issue contractor facility badges until the appropriate security investigations are completed and badges are issued?
Answer: Yes, If contractors are required to be on site during security badging, Flash badges will be issued.
6. Have there been initial work conducted to develop activation schedules and management plans?
Answer: The facility has a Program Charter in place that outlines the facilities guideline for the VA Choice 2.0 projects. Activation schedules were developed by the project managers in VACO, CFM and Real Properties.
7. Has the site assigned a dedicated activation program / project manager and activation team to lead the effort?
Answer: There is a dedicated Program Manager for NG/SGVCH, the project manager job has been advertised for the project and is awaiting HR action.
10. Are there two POCs for this effort or one POC for both sites?
Answer: One POC for both sites. The Gainesville project, although two separate projects, will be managed by one.
11. Has a Program Charter been developed for this effort?
Answer: The facility has a Program Charter for the Choice 2.0 Projects.
12. Has the Integrated Product Team (IPT) methodology been used at these locations before?
Answer: Yes, we use the IPT on all our minor and major projects.
13. In the schedules provided for both locations, contractor provided training occur prior to the installation of equipment. Is it the intent of the facility to conduct new equipment training at the vendor facility? Regarding equipment testing during this same period, does this refer to testing of existing equipment for reuse?
Answer: This needs to be adjusted after the equipment is installed. The intent is to have the Vendor conduct the training at the Gainesville facilities for new equipment. If we reuse equipment, we will have to determine if the testing of that equipment has to be completed by the vendor or local bio-medical personnel. The only high-end equipment that may be moved, would be the Pyxis machines for both Primary Care and Mental Health. This will have to be moved and calibrated (tested) under our service contract with the vendor. The activation vendor can coordinate having this set up with our Bio-Medical Engineer.
