Request for information:
Question 1:
The SOW specifies 32 cameras but the map indicates 23 cameras. Can the USCG please clarify this discrepancy and/or mark locations for all 32 cameras on the map?
5. Install 13 Multi Sensor Cameras (Map Camera 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13)
6. Install 05 Long-Range Bullet Cameras (Map Camera 1,2,3,4,5)
7. Install 03 Priority one w/ Multi Sensor (Map Camera 1,2,3)
8. Install 03 360-degree Cameras (Map Camera 1,2)
9. Remove and replace 04 front gate Cameras with License Plate Recognition Cameras.
10. Remove and replace 01 Front gate Cameras with 360.
11. Remove and replace 02 back gate with License Plate Recognition Camaras.
12. Remove and replace 01 back gate Cameras with 360.
Answer 1:
I had to make another map just for the missing cameras because of how tight the space is on the first map.
Below you can see the front gate and back gate guard shack will have these cameras installed on them.
Pink represents License Plate Recognition Camaras.
While orange represents Cameras with 360 capabilities.

Is the system need to be completely wireless?
Answer 2: can be a combination of both

How many screens do you want, do you want current screens replaced?
Answer 8: 02 Screens in Total have all current screens replaced Question 9:
There are two security systems in the security office. One feed is for the sector building. Is it a stand-alone system and streamed to the security office?
Answer 9: It is a stand alone system, we shall not touch the existing cameras for sector Question 10:
currently the stand alone system and UPS are sitting on a cabinet, do you want to upgrade it to a server rack?

Does network need to be encrypted?
Answer 11: Yes it does

When will the RFIs be addressed and sam.gov revised? Should we expect an updated RFI need by date and close date for solicitation?
Answer 12: RFIs from this site visits will be addressed by COB 01JUL2024. The need by date for RFIs and the solicitation close date will be shifted one week to the right. (This took longer than expected, close date was extend to make up for time taken to get RFI posted)

Is MDA compliance required?
Answer: Yes
Question 14:
Is the contractor required to run power to the cameras, or will the CG being doing that?
Answer: Contractor will be required to complete install Question 15:
Are we utilizing any of the existing equipment?
Answer: all existing equipment is to be replaced Question 16:
Can the CG supply manlift for cost savings?
Answer: Manlift will be supplied by contractor
Question 17:
What are the megapixel requirements? Contractor suggest 8 at minimum Answer: 8 Megapixel is the requirement.
Question 18:
Is the LPTA or performance based contact?
Answer: LPTA

Do we want maritime cameras for the water front cameras Answer: All 05 cameras facing the water front will be maritime cameras
Question 20:
Federal encryption compliant Answer: Yes

does the NVR need to be FIPS compliant Answer:

to confirm, the LPR camera only needs to capture license images, no additional analytics are wanted?
Answer: The License Plate Recognition Cameras will not capture any additional information on when a vehicle entered and left.
Question 23:
Would you like IR cameras to help with the fluctuations in lighting throughout the day?
Answer: This could increase the cost by 2x or 5x the overall price so I would say no.
Question 24:
Due to the number of cameras and locations, a full wireless design will be needed to support the requirements requested. Will there be a wireless design requirement incorporated into the Request for proposal as a requirement?
