About this file

This is an Amendment 0001 Attachment Page containing clarifications through a Questions and Answers format for a federal contract opportunity.

The amendment addresses three key inquiries: soil contamination results are not available for the project; replacement lighting fixtures must meet both explosion-proof and intrinsically safe specifications per the scope of work; and contractor access requirements do not mandate TWIC cards but instead require submission of current drivers' licenses to the unit's security officer for background verification. Contractors will utilize a daily sign-in and sign-out sheet or binder to track on-site presence during work completion.

AMENDMENT 0001 ATTACHMENT PAGE

1. QUESTION: Is there a copy of the soil results from the contamination of oil?

ANSWER: No.

2. QUESTION: For the replacement lights, do they need to be explosion proof of what the station currently has installed?

ANSWER: They need to be explosion proof and intrinsically safe per the scope of work.

3. QUESTION: For the contractors coming to the unit to complete the necessary work, do they need a TWIC card and are they going to be monitored with an escort?

ANSWER: Contractors do not require a TWIC card; we will just need a copy sent over of all the contractors’ current drivers’ licenses so that we can run a check with the unit’s security officer. We can coordinate a separate sign in sheet and or binder for the contractors so that they can sign in and sign out each day that they are on site working.
