About this file

This supplemental pre-qualification document is issued by the City of Philadelphia Department of Streets for Bid #3008, Crescentville Road Signals & Pedestrian Improvements. The project is a pre-qualification-only solicitation with an estimated value of $1,000,000.00 to $2,000,000.00. Vendors must demonstrate their ability to meet specific electrical requirements prior to the bid opening date listed on the Project Manual Coversheet. Interested contractors are required to inform the Procurement Department through the Questions Tab in PHL Contracts of their qualifications and ability to satisfy the project requirements.

The primary requirement for this solicitation is PECO Contractor-of-Choice certification for vendors performing electrical tie-ins to the PECO operated grid. Vendors without this certification may proceed only if they engage a PECO Contractor-of-Choice certified subcontractor to complete all electrical tie-in work. While non-certified vendors may perform other project items, the electrical connection work to the PECO grid is restricted to certified contractors. Approved vendors from the pre-qualification phase will be invited to participate in the closed bid solicitation.
