About this file

This is a specifications document for a Request for Proposal issued by Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) in Utah for the procurement of a Lidar scanner system with associated accessories and software. SLCC seeks to purchase a Leica RTC360 laser scanner, which is a high-speed 3D laser scanner equipped with an integrated HDR spherical imaging system and Visual Inertial System (VIS) for real-time scan registration. The requested equipment package includes one Leica RTC360 laser scanner, a transport container, four lithium-ion batteries, a multicharger, two 256GB USB flash drives, a rain cover, quick guide and operation manuals, a system USB card, a tripod, and a backpack. The scanner is compatible with Leica Cyclone FIELD 360 mobile device software for edge computing and real-time scan registration, as well as Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360 office software for 3D model integration.

The College has determined that the Leica brand meets its requirements and has specified Leica products in the solicitation; however, alternative brands will be evaluated if submitted bids include complete specifications that meet or exceed the Leica system specifications. SLCC reserves the right to not proceed with the procurement after reviewing submitted responses. The College may optionally purchase an extended warranty and Customer Care Package that includes regular software updates at the time of award or on an annual basis thereafter.
