About this file

This is a Bid Proposal Price Form for South Valley Sanctuary (SVS), a Utah-based children's learning center and playground improvement project. The solicitation, identified as NS27-127, seeks contractor bids for landscaping and playground upgrades designed to enhance the shelter living area for children and families while implementing water conservation measures through xeriscaping. The project includes nine required base bid items: two shade structures (small posted shade sail and large playground structure), extension of the northeast children's learning center patio deck with artificial turf, playground perimeter expansion, rubber mulch safety surfacing installation, swing set replacement, removal of an existing gazebo, asphalt bike path extension, and rock landscaping replacement at multiple site areas totaling approximately 2,856 square feet across playgrounds, pet village units, gazebos, and walkways. A mandatory pre-bid virtual conference is scheduled for October 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM, with the deadline for submitting questions set for November 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM, and bid submissions due by November 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM through the U3P platform.

Contractors must provide complete pricing for all required base bid items including labor, materials, equipment, installation, removal, disposal, and applicable permit costs, with separate pricing provided for two alternative options (awning instead of shade sail and decking instead of artificial turf) and two optional items (interactive play equipment and concrete bike rack pad). Bidders must identify proposed materials, products, brands, or models in their submissions and confirm project duration, price validity period, and whether permit costs are included in the base bid. All pricing should be entered on the form, with any exceptions or clarifications attached separately. The form does not specify a contract award date, term length, or renewal options; however, SVS emphasizes that the project prioritizes accessibility and usability for all community members, including people with disabilities and mobility limitations.
