About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing on behalf of the Division of Wildlife Resources for forest management services in Iron County. The project, designated as JH27-115, involves hand thinning and hand pile construction of cut material across approximately 64 acres located northeast of Paragonah, Utah in Township 33 South, Range 7 West, Sections 30, 31, and 32 (Latitude: 37.898788, Longitude: 112.686512). The cut material is to be piled in a manner suitable for future burning. No mandatory site visit will be held prior to bidding; however, potential bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the project site to familiarize themselves with general and local conditions that may affect performance costs. Failure to conduct a site inspection will not constitute grounds for claims after contract award. The work must be completed by November 1, 2026, and the vendor must guarantee pricing through project completion.
This solicitation is limited to prequalified contractors only, and interested parties must verify their presence on the current Pre-approved/Pre-qualified Vendor list before submitting a bid. The contract is anticipated to result in a single award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. The vendor must maintain guaranteed pricing throughout the duration of the project through its November 1, 2026 completion date.
