About this file

This document is Exhibit C: Minimum Insurance Requirements for LEAD Public Schools, located in Nashville, Tennessee. The exhibit details the comprehensive insurance coverage requirements for vendors contracted with the organization, specifying mandatory insurance types and minimum coverage limits for the duration of the contract/project. The document outlines three primary insurance categories: Comprehensive General Liability Insurance, Automobile Liability Insurance, and Workers' Compensation Insurance.

The insurance requirements include specific financial thresholds, such as a $1,000,000 Each Occurrence Limit for General Liability, a $2,000,000 Combine Single Limit for Automobile Liability, and statutory limits for Workers' Compensation. Additionally, the document stipulates that vendors must name LEAD Public Schools as an additional insured on all coverage except workers' compensation, and provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with specific description and certificate holder details. Vendors have the option to self-insure, provided they submit a certificate of self-insurance or a detailed letter confirming coverage, liability policy amounts, and proof of funds. The requirements also extend to subcontractors, mandating that vendors either require subcontractors to obtain similar insurance coverage or include subcontractor activities under their own policy.
