About this file

This document is a Certification Relating to the Hardening of State Government, issued pursuant to Executive Order GA-48, involving a college's contracting requirements. The certification requires respondents to affirm that their company, including holding companies and subsidiaries, is not listed on specific U.S. government adversary lists, including sections of the 2019 and 2021 National Defense Authorization Acts, and is not owned or controlled by governments on the U.S. Department of Commerce's foreign adversaries list.

The document mandates that the college cannot enter into new contracts, contract extensions, or renewals with any company meeting the specified criteria. Respondents must choose either to agree or disagree with these terms by checking the appropriate box and providing a signature, printed name, title, and date. The certification appears to be a standard compliance document designed to protect state government interests by preventing contracting with potentially high-risk foreign-affiliated entities.
