About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 for the City of Tallahassee's Jake Gaither Community Pedestrian and Street Safety (PASS) Project, issued on July 24, 2025. The addendum provides clarifications and modifications to the original Request for Qualifications (RFQ), specifically addressing project reference requirements and sidewalk implementation. The document confirms that bidders must submit project references for ten similar projects, with four of those references from the last five years and the remaining from within the last ten years. For the collector roadways (Springsax, Ridge, and Bragg), the city confirmed its intention to include sidewalks on both sides of these roadways.

The addendum also addresses several additional questions from potential bidders, including page limit restrictions for the Executive Summary (limited to one page), confirmation that liquidated damages will not apply to design professional services, and the city's stance on not modifying the contract's indemnification clause. The document requires bidders to acknowledge the addendum through the Bonfire platform and provides contact information (catrina.wilson@talgov.com or FRS TDD at 771) for any further questions. The addendum serves to provide clarity and consistency for potential respondents to the RFQ for the Jake Gaither Community Pedestrian and Street Safety Project.
