About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for Invitation for Bid (IFB) 26-001-FR issued by the City of Rio Rancho's Department of Financial Services Purchasing Division for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Consumables, Apparel, and Minor Equipment. The addendum provides detailed responses to 14 vendor questions regarding the bid, with key details including submission requirements of both a physical and electronic bid through Bonfire portal by August 19, 2025. The City will conduct a public bid opening via Team Meeting and in-person at City Hall Atrium, with evaluation to be performed by a City-appointed Evaluation Committee.

The bid will be evaluated based on pricing and percentage discounts across 13 categories, with no formal scoring rubric but a bid abstract will be posted on Bonfire. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards on an item-by-item basis to responsive and responsible bidders offering the lowest prices, potentially establishing primary and secondary vendors. There is no estimated annual or total contract value, and consumables will be ordered as needed within the annual budget allowance. Vendors must submit their catalog pricing at the time of proposal, and the City will not accept changes to the standard price escalation clause or electronic signatures (such as DocuSign).
