About this file

This is a thermal laminating film specification document for Jordan School District's one-time purchase Request for Quote (RFQ) for their Central Warehouse. The solicitation seeks pricing for three types of clear gloss thermal laminating film: 18" x 500' rolls, 25" x 500' rolls, and 27" x 500' rolls, all requiring true, full 1.5-mil thickness. All products must be newly manufactured within the past twelve months and come in cases containing two identical rolls per case. Acceptable brands with no substitutes are limited to GBC Nap-Lam I (with specific manufacturer SKUs for each size) or Polyplex (with corresponding SKUs), with Polyplex offerings requiring prior authorization letter from the manufacturer on official letterhead dated in calendar year 2026 if awarded. Each roll and case must be clearly labeled with manufacturer name, thickness, roll size, and manufacturer part number. The specifications document supplements eleven additional requirements outlined in the project description section of the solicitation.

Pricing must be submitted per case only at dollars and cents with no more than two decimal places, with all extended pricing rounded up. Bids must include FOB Destination Freight Prepaid with no separate billing for shipping, freight, fuel surcharges, or delivery charges, and products must be shipped on shrink-wrapped pallets. Vendors must be eligible to bid, excluding those dealing exclusively in closeout, surplus, liquidation, overstock, discontinued, or end-of-line inventory; all items must be part of the vendor's standard product line with ongoing availability. Each bidder may submit only one bid per item, and "all or none" bids are not accepted. Jordan School District reserves the right to request samples at no charge prior to award and warrants that all laminating film shall be free from defects with vendor responsibility for replacement of damaged or defective film within ten business days at no additional cost to the district.
