About this file

The document is a Debarment and Suspension Certification form from the Cherokee County School District's Procurement Services Department. The form requires bidders to certify that their company and any potential subcontractors are not debarred, suspended, ineligible, or excluded from contract awards by the U.S. Department of Agriculture or other Federal, State, or Local Agencies. Bidders must immediately notify the school district if they become debarred or placed on the Consolidated List of Debarred, Suspended, and Ineligible Contractors during the bid process or after contract award.

The certification emphasizes that sanctions are imposed to protect the government's interests, not to punish bidders, and are in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Bidders who cannot execute this certification will not be considered for an award. The document requires the bidder to provide their legal company name, a corporate officer's signature, their title, and printed name. The form was last updated in August 2023 and is designed to ensure that only responsible contractors are eligible to bid on or receive contracts from the Cherokee County School District.
