About this file

This is an Anti-Boycott Statement form required by Williamson County, Texas for contractors seeking to do business with the county. The document requires companies to certify compliance with three Texas Government Code provisions: non-boycott of Israel (Texas Government Code 2271.001), non-boycott of energy companies (Texas Government Code 2274.002), and non-discrimination against firearm entities and firearm trade associations. The form applies to the hay lease opportunity for approximately 11.7 acres of surface rights at Berry Springs Park and Preserve. Contractors must either affirm all three anti-boycott certifications or specify an exemption based on company status.

Exemptions from the anti-boycott requirements are available for sole proprietors, companies with fewer than 10 full-time employees, or contracts valued below $100,000. The form requires the company or contractor name, signature, printed name, and title of the authorized representative. Texas law prohibits county governments from contracting with companies that boycott Israel, boycott energy companies, or discriminate against firearms entities and trade associations. All bidders must complete this certification as a condition of participating in the Williamson County contracting process.
