About this file

This is an ASTM Certification document related to the City of Tucson's competitive procurement for On-Call Geotechnical Engineering & Materials Testing Services. The document outlines ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) certification requirements that bidders must meet to qualify for the contract. The City of Tucson is seeking to retain approximately eight consultants through a One-Step competitive process to provide professional geotechnical engineering and materials testing services on an as-needed basis. The contract term is three years with one optional two-year renewal period. Individual project assignments are not to exceed two hundred fifty thousand dollars, though typical projects are expected to remain under fifty thousand dollars. The estimated total annual budget for the contract is three hundred thousand dollars.

The certification requirements specified in this document establish the technical qualifications and ASTM standards compliance that prospective consultants must demonstrate. These requirements ensure that selected consultants possess the necessary expertise and credentials to perform geotechnical testing and analysis work to established industry standards. The contract is neither exclusive nor a guarantee that selected consultants will receive work assignments. Consultants must meet all specified ASTM certification standards to be considered eligible for contract award and participation in this on-call services arrangement.
