About this file

This document is a template for the Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) Form required under FAR 42.15, used by the DoWEA Procurement Field Support Branch. The form requires contractors to designate a representative who will receive electronic performance assessments from the Government's Assessing Official (AO) or Contracting Officer. The designated representative must provide name, title, email address, telephone number, and N/CAGE number for authorization access, and bears responsibility for notifying the AO/Contracting Officer of any personnel changes.

The designated contractor representative has four specific authorities: receive Government performance assessments from the AO, review and comment on assessments, return assessments to the AO within 30 days, and request a meeting in writing no later than seven calendar days from receipt to discuss the evaluation. The form includes hardware and software requirements for accessing CPARS Online, including support for the latest three major desktop versions of Internet Explorer and the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, as well as Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing PDF attachments. Technical support is available through the Customer Support Desk at (207) 438-1690 or DSN 684-1690, with email support at webptsmh@navy.mil. This is a template document without specific contract opportunities, products, services, or response dates.

Hardware/Software Requirements for CPARS

To use CPARS Online, you will need to have access to the internet along with the following hardware and software:

CPARS fully supports the latest three major desktop versions of Internet Explorer, and the latest major desktop version of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Older browsers may still view CPARS, however users should expect mixed results. A "major version" refers to a full numeric release, like 9.0 and 10.0 (not minor releases like 9.2.x and 10.2.x).

The Adobe Acrobat Reader should be installed. This allows you to view and print the PDF attachments in

CPARS and FAPIIS. The reader can be downloaded and installed from Adobe Acrobat. If you have any problems downloading or installing the reader, please contact our Technical Support.
