About this file

This document is a Clarifying Questions file for a federal contract opportunity involving network infrastructure installation. The solicitation is live, brand-new, and will be competed as other than full and open competition. Key technical requirements include installing network switches, wireless access points (WAPs), and providing Wi-Fi coverage across multiple locations with a 5 Gbps minimum bandwidth per device. The project involves a concrete tilt-wall building with inner dry-walled office spaces, and the base infrastructure uses a mixture of single-mode (SM) and multi-mode (MM) fiber.

Critical dates include a question submission deadline of December 31, 2025, at 3:00 PM Central Time, with proposal responses due January 2, 2026, at 12:00 NOON Central Time. The anticipated Period of Performance start date is January 15, 2026. Notable technical specifications include requiring inside wiring availability, sufficient air conditioning and backup power at each location, and mandatory firewall implementation. The solicitation indicates attachments exist for coverage area maps and floor plans, though specific details are referenced to be provided in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) or contract award.
