About this file
This document is a Clarifying Questions file for a federal contract solicitation for network infrastructure services. The solicitation is live, covers a brand-new contract with no incumbent, and will be competed as other than full and open competition. Key technical requirements include installing network switches, Wi-Fi access points, and related infrastructure across multiple locations with a concrete tilt wall construction. The network will require a firewall, have a minimum bandwidth of 5gbps, and involve approximately 150 network drops.
Critical timeline details include a questions due date of December 31, 2025, and proposal response deadline of January 2, 2026, with an anticipated Period of Performance start date of January 15, 2026. The solicitation seeks network equipment, internet service, and installation services, with pricing to be structured across five years. Vendors should note the building construction is concrete with inner dry-walled office spaces, the base infrastructure uses a mixture of single-mode and multi-mode fiber, and inside wiring is available for vendor use. The government has indicated sufficient air conditioning and backup power exist at the locations, and floor plans/CAD drawings will be provided as attachments.
