The calendar identifies 11 observed holidays throughout 2026, beginning with New Year's Day on Thursday, January 1, and concluding with Christmas Day on Friday, December 25. Notable observances include Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 19; President's Day on Monday, February 16; Memorial Day on Monday, May 25; Independence Day observed on Friday, July 3; Labor Day on Monday, September 7; Veteran's Day on Wednesday, November 11; Thanksgiving Day and the day after on Thursday, November 26, and Friday, November 27, respectively; and Christmas Eve on Thursday, December 24.

This exhibit is provided as a supporting document for RFP 26-8634, Collier County's Planning and Regulation Staffing solicitation, which seeks qualified staffing firms to provide augmented personnel for the Development Review Division's Growth Management Community Development Department. The holiday calendar serves as reference material for proposers bidding on the three-year initial contract with two optional one-year renewal periods, establishing the days on which County offices will be closed and informing scheduling and resource planning considerations for contracted staffing services.
