1.0 SCOPE
The Communication Strategy and Operations (COMMSTRAT) Reproduction section at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island (MCRDPI) and Eastern Recruiting Region (ERR) is mission tasked with providing printing and reproduction capabilities for the recruitment and training of all Marine Corps Recruits, Drill Instructors, and all of the additional Training Commands aboard the Depot and throughout the Eastern Recruiting Region. The COMMSTRAT Reproduction section accomplishes its mission by providing in-house printing and duplication for color and black and white (B&W) documents, while successfully monitoring, and evaluating the usage and maintenance of such equipment.
2.0 BACKGROUND INFORMATION
MCRDPI COMMSTRAT currently has Four total production copiers: Three (3) Xerox D125 B&W production copier, one (1) Xerox C560 Color copier within our reproduction section. These machines are currently leased and the command has a maintenance and service contract with Xerox for these existing machines. The contract covers all impression counts, toner, broken parts and preventative maintenance for these machines.
