About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a flooring repair project at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, covering Buildings RR631, RR633, and RR635.

The contractor shall remove all existing luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring throughout the three buildings and seal the floors with Ardex floor sealer or a comparable product meeting or exceeding manufacturer specifications. The contractor must then install Tarkett Provence 2131 6" x 48" luxury vinyl tile (LVT) or a comparable product, along with Johnsonite Medium Gray wall base. All work shall be performed to manufacturer specifications, and the contractor is responsible for taking field measurements, providing all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision. The contractor shall replace any thresholds between carpet and other flooring as needed, replace any vinyl wall base that is disturbed, and apply sealant before flooring installation. All debris must be properly removed, hauled, and disposed of by the contractor—not through the Camp Lejeune dumpster—and all over-spray, drips, splatters, and spills must be cleaned. The contractor shall also repair or refinish any areas damaged or disturbed by the new work. Product submittals including manufacturer specifications and technical data must be submitted to the contracting officer marked with the project number. The flooring contractor must provide a 5-year warranty for defects in materials and workmanship and a 25-year non-prorated limited warranty against excessive surface wear, static, delamination, edge ravel, zippering, and backing resilience. The primary point of contact is Zachory Melchisky at 910-440-0558.
