About this file

This document is a Darfur Contracting Act Certification form issued by the State of California's Department of General Services (DGS) for Solicitation 25FS0032. The form applies to companies that have conducted business activities outside the United States within the previous three years and are seeking to bid on or submit a proposal for a California state contract. Companies must certify that they are either not a "scrutinized company" or have obtained written permission from the DGS to submit a proposal.

The certification form provides two options for compliance: Option #1 requires companies to certify under penalty of perjury that they are not a scrutinized company, while Option #2 allows scrutinized companies to submit a bid if they have received written permission from the DGS. Companies must provide their company/vendor name, Federal ID Number, and an authorized signature. The form is part of California's regulatory process to ensure ethical contracting practices for businesses with international operations, specifically targeting companies with connections to regions of concern.
