& Address: Interactive Water Feature “IWF” – Pool E

15000 Livingston Rd

Naples, FL 34109

This summary document corresponds to the IWF Pool E Drawings and Specifications for the renovations at Sun-N-Fun Lagoon in Naples, FL. WTI and GRAEF are the Engineers of record who compiled the Bid Package. The drawing package includes a Base Bid for the majority of the work and an Alternate scope for the IWF pad finishes. See below for further clarification on the scope.

Reference the Bid Tabulation Sheet for specific scope breakdown that aligns with this narrative.

Base Bid: The base bid includes demolition of the 2 existing fiberglass collector tanks, to be replaced with a single new concrete collector tank. Piping is designed to be reconnected/redistributed to the new tank. Also included in the base bid is the demolition of the majority of the existing IWF pad, in preparation for new features. All the existing floor drains for the IWF pad shall be removed, but the supply piping to the features remains for reconnection to new features. A new slab and foundation for the features is included as part of the project.

Two new pumps are scheduled for Pump Building #1 (PB#1) to replace the existing IWF pumps.

Also included in the project is a UV light disinfection system to comply with the Florida

Building Code, along with some additional new pool mechanical equipment.

Alternate Safety Surfacing: The base bid includes a broom finished surface for the new IWF pad. The Alternate scope is to provide a 3/8” thick LifeFloor finish over the entire IWF pad.

Pool Electrical Scope: There is electrical scope as part of this renovation, required due to the

IWF renovations. This electrical scope includes bonding to the new features and electrical distribution for the new pool mechanical equipment in PB#1.

Bidding contractors must reference the Pool (PL) and Pool Electrical (PLE) drawings and specifications for the entire scope of work, including items not mentioned in this narrative.
