About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a traffic calming project at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. The project involves installing rumble strips and rubber speed bumps at multiple Entry Control Points (ECPs), including Wilson Blvd, Curtis Road, Stone Bay, Holcomb, Piney Green, Midway Park, Douglass, Camp Johnson, and Sneads Ferry. The Provost Marshall Office (PMO) is the customer, and the project has been approved by the Commanding Officers of H&S Battalion and MCAS New River.

The SOW includes specific scheduling requirements: for Wilson Blvd, Curtis Road, Stone Bay, and Holcomb ECPs, contractors must keep half of inbound and outbound lanes open, while for the remaining ECPs, contractors can use all lanes for three consecutive days and are permitted to work multiple shifts, overtime, nights, and weekends to complete the work. The document also allows flexibility in project management, stating that one person may serve as Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Safety & Health Officer if qualified for all three positions as defined in the project specification.
