CBS-2019-057: OPM-NBIB - CPOC Industry Day and Reading Room Notice

Introduction

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) National Background Investigations Bureau (NBIB) invites you to visit a Reading Room from December 10-14, 2018 and to attend the Case Processing Operations Center (CPOC) Industry Day on December 12-13, 2018, at the case processing facility in Boyers, PA 16018. The purpose of this forum is for the NBIB’s Contracting and Business Solutions (CBS) and Federal Investigative Records Enterprise (FIRE) divisions to jointly provide industry an avenue to learn about the current operations and the anticipated upcoming CPOC requirements.

This forum will also serve to encourage an exchange of information and ideas with our industry partners. Industry will hear from the organization's staff and gain insight into the CPOC strategic and operational objectives. Additionally, there will be opportunities to attend breakout sessions for industry to ask questions, provide insight into their processes/procedures, discuss company capabilities, and offer feedback to NBIB for consideration in future acquisition strategies or processes.

At this time, based on recent market research efforts, the Government is contemplating a total Small Business Set-Aside (SBSA) to fulfill this requirement.
