About this file
This document is a Code Enforcement Work Order from Sarasota County, Florida, designed for lot mowing and debris removal services on privately-owned properties. The work order provides detailed instructions for contractors, specifying two primary service options: curbside debris placement and lot mowing. Contractors are required to perform work within seven business days of receiving the order, with specific guidelines including mowing properties to a 3-inch height, properly placing debris at the curbside, and ensuring debris meets size and weight restrictions (not exceeding four feet in length, 16 inches in diameter, and 40 pounds in weight).
The work order includes several key administrative requirements for contractors, such as contacting the Code Enforcement Officer upon receipt of the work order, notifying the officer within 48 hours after work completion, and submitting before and after date-stamped photos with an invoice. Contractors must perform the work themselves and cannot utilize third-party vendors. The document is part of a broader solicitation for a term contract anticipated to last three years, with contractors responsible for lot mowing and debris removal throughout Sarasota County. Additional requirements include potential sheriff presence, specific debris handling protocols, and submission of documentation to administrative staff for review and approval before invoice submission.
