About this file

This document is a request for proposals (RFP) issued by the Jones County School System for the purchase of 125 portable two-way radios. The radios must provide reliable push-to-talk communication in the UHF band, with a minimum of 99 channels, and the ability to operate in both digital and analog modes. The RFP specifies the required radio model, dimensions, weight, and power supply, and requests that vendors provide pricing for all applicable accessories, such as headsets, chargers, and batteries. Additionally, the RFP asks vendors to provide information on warranty coverage, repair and maintenance processes, and any other value-added services or support offerings.

The cost proposal should itemize the pricing for the radios, accessories, and any additional services or support. Vendors are encouraged to provide quantity discounts, if applicable. The RFP does not mention any specific funding sources or set-asides, but it is likely that the Jones County School System has allocated a budget for this procurement. The successful vendor will be responsible for providing the radios and related services for the duration of the contract, which may include renewal options.
