About this file

This document contains questions and answers related to a two-way radio system procurement for a state or local government entity. The questions cover the intended use of the radios, including whether repeaters will be used, the need to communicate between schools, with buses, and with off-site employees, as well as the requirement for separate talk groups. The government entity has an expired VHF FCC license and is open to features beyond basic voice communications, but specific requirements are not detailed. The document indicates the vendor is welcome to recommend additional features and provide pricing.

The document does not provide information on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding sources, or contract duration. It focuses solely on clarifying the government entity's needs and openness to vendor recommendations for the two-way radio system.
